CONFERENCE THEME: Insight and Learnings from around the Pacific Rim; meeting your community’s mental health needs
Presentations will be selected to provide a program that offers a comprehensive and diverse range of issues related to the Conference theme of “Insight and Learnings from around the Pacific Rim; meeting your community’s mental health needs”.
This conference is aimed at building the capacity of professionals in the Asia Pacific Rim who deliver front-line mental health services, across a range of issues. Professionals attending will be involved in research and development, policy, curriculum development, consumer advocacy, system design, lived experience of mental health issues, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support. The conference will also provide insight into the latest research and treatment strategies in alcohol and other drug use, trauma, suicide prevention, and telehealth.
Professionals (delegates) attending the conference will have the opportunity to learn about research and development, policy, curriculum development, disability services, youth mental health, rural and regional mental health service deliver, domestic and family violence, Sexuality education and LGBTIQ+ issues, consumer advocacy, system design, lived experience of mental health issues, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support. The conference will also provide a platform to discuss the latest research and treatment strategies in alcohol and other drug use, trauma and telehealth.
At the end of this event, delegates will have had the opportunity to participate in discussions about:
